Clinton Township May Borrow Funds to Acquire Site

Whether a piece of farmland owned by Clinton United Methodist Church becomes the site of some “affordable” housing for Clinton Township may be decided Wednesday, June 11 when Township Council votes on borrowing $1.21 million to pay for the purchase.




Service Dog for Autistic Child

With the help of 80 donors, family and friends have raised more than $6,300 for Oliver Dicks, a 3-year-old boy from Hackettstown in need of a service dog, surpassing the goal of their online fundraiser with just two days to spare.

"I never imagined it would happen," said Oliver's mother Kerri Dicks. "So many donations came from people who don't even know us."



America's Oldest Working Teacher

Believed to be the oldest working teacher in America, Zhelesnik – who is called Granny by everyone at the Sundance School – celebrated her 100th birthday yesterday with singing, dancing and, of course, her children.





A Day at the Sight & Sound Theater to see Moses


You are invited to join the Tewksbury Township Seniors for a day in Pennsylvania to see Moses at the Sight and Sound Theater in Lancaster on October 15, 2014.


The charge for Moses, a Buffet Dinner at Shady Maple, bus transportation and gratuities is $100 per person.


A deposit of $50 must be received no later than July 25, 2014 with final payment due on October 1.  Bus pickup will be at the Meadows and Oldwick Fire House.
